Accessible Seating

Accessible seating must be pre-booked via Ticketek.

Simply click the accessible filter on your specific event page to view the accessible seating available. For more information, click here.

Parking

Accessible Parking

Accessible parking must be pre-booked via Ticketek and can be secured online when you purchase your ticket.

Parking on-site is limited, and we strongly recommend booking in advance. 

Please note, there are a limited number of accessible parking bays located in front of John Cain Arena on Olympic Boulevard.

Access

Drop-Off and Pick-Up

Rod Laver Arena 

Guests with reduced mobility may be dropped off or picked up at the Northern Car Park (Entrance A, Batman Avenue) or Eastern Plaza Car Park (Entrance D, Olympic Boulevard).   

All visitors have 20 minutes to drop off or pick up guests. Please note, exceeding this time may result in parking charges.  

Margaret Court Arena 

Guests with reduced mobility may be dropped off or picked up at the Northern Car Park (Entrance A, Batman Avenue) or Eastern Plaza Car Park (Entrance D, Olympic Boulevard).

John Cain Arena 

Guests with reduced mobility may be dropped off or picked up in front of John Cain Arena on Olympic Boulevard in the designated zones.  

AAMI Park 

Guests with reduced mobility may be dropped off or picked up at Entrance E (for Gates 5 – 8) and Entrance F (for Gates 1 – 4). 

Lifts are available at either entrance to take guests from ground level to the concourse. 

On the concourse, Gates 2 and 7 are equipped with dedicated accessible lanes to assist guests entering the venue.

Entry

Melbourne Park is equipped with ramps and lifts, and accessible entry options are available at all turnstiles.

If you require assistance accessing your seat, please inform a member of our guest services team.

Other (A-Z)

Assistance Dogs

We are committed to providing an accessible and enjoyable experience for all guests. Guests with disabilities are welcome to bring assistance dogs into our venues.

Braille Buttons

Rod Laver Arena 

All lifts have braille buttons and are serviced by venue staff to assist guests moving around the venue.  

Margaret Court Arena 

All lifts have braille buttons to assist guests moving around the venue. 

John Cain Arena 

All lifts have braille buttons and are serviced by venue staff to assist guests moving around the venue.  

AAMI Park 

All lifts have braille buttons and are serviced by venue staff to assist guests moving around the venue. 

Changing Places

Rod Laver Arena 

Changing Places facilities provide suitable and safe facilities for people with disability.  

Access to this facility requires a Master Locksmith Access Key (MLAK). If you do not have your own, one can be obtained from the Information Desk at Gate 4.  

Changing Places facilities are located near Door 7. 

Margaret Court Arena 

Unfortunately, Changing Places facilities are not yet available at Margaret Court Arena. If you need assistance, please inform a staff member who will arrange access to the Rod Laver Arena facilities wherever possible.  

John Cain Arena 

Changing Places facilities provide suitable and safe facilities for people with disability.  

Access to this facility requires a Master Locksmith Access Key (MLAK). If you do not have your own, one can be obtained from the Information Desk at Gate 7 (West).  

Changing Places facilities are located near Door 4. 

AAMI Park 

Unfortunately, Changing Places facilities are not yet available at AAMI Park, however, accessible toilets are located near Aisles 3, 18, 23 and 37 on Level 1, near Aisles 10 and 21 on Level 3, and in all corporate areas. 

Cloaking

Rod Laver Arena 

Cloaking is available via the Information Desk at Gate 4, or Show Court 3. Any prohibited items listed in the venue Conditions of Entry will not be accepted for cloaking. 

Margaret Court Arena 

Cloaking is available via the Information Desk at Door 7, or Show Court 3. Any prohibited items listed in the venue Conditions of Entry will not be accepted for cloaking. 

John Cain Arena 

Cloaking is available via the Information Desk (Gates 6 and 8). Any prohibited items listed in the venue Conditions of Entry will not be accepted for cloaking.

AAMI Park 

Cloaking is available via the Information Desk (Gates 1 and 8). Any prohibited items listed in the venue Conditions of Entry will not be accepted for cloaking. 

Companion Cards

Companion Cards are accepted for all events at Melbourne Park. Guests can book tickets for themselves and their companions when booking via Ticketek.

Gender Neutral Toilets

Rod Laver Arena 

Gender neutral toilets provide a restroom space that is inclusive and accommodating to individuals of any gender identity or expression. 

Gender neutral toilets are located near Door 7. 

Margaret Court Arena 

Gender neutral toilets provide a restroom space that is inclusive and accommodating to individuals of any gender identity or expression. 

Gender neutral toilets are located near Door 11. 

John Cain Arena 

Unfortunately, gender neutral toilets are not available at John Cain Arena. 

AAMI Park 

Gender neutral toilets provide a restroom space that is inclusive and accommodating to individuals of any gender identity or expression.  

Gender neutral toilets are located between Aisles 22 and 23 on Level 1. 

Getting Here

There are several options for your journey to Melbourne Park. 

Public transport is the quickest and easiest option. Before you attend, plan ahead and allow extra travel time for any major disruptions.

Hearing augmentation at Rod Laver Arena involves a transmitting and receiving system that improves audio for individuals with hearing impairments.  

Guests can use individual receivers provided by the venue to enhance the auditory experience throughout the venue.  

For access to hearing augmentation devices and additional information, please visit the Information Desk at Gate 4.

Hidden Disabilities

Melbourne Park is pleased to support the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program as part of our commitment to supporting staff and guests living with non-visible disabilities.  

Wearing the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower allows staff and guests to voluntarily share that they have a disability or condition that may not be immediately apparent, and that they may require accessibility adjustments or assistance.  

Staff or guests may choose to wear a sunflower badge, lanyard or wristband to participate.

Parents Rooms

Rod Laver Arena 

Parents rooms are dedicated spaces designed to cater to the specific needs of parents and caregivers with infants or young children.  

A parents room is located near Door 3, while baby change facilities are located in all accessible toilets. 

Margaret Court Arena 

Parents rooms are dedicated spaces designed to cater to the specific needs of parents and caregivers with infants or young children.  

Parents rooms are located near Doors 6 and 19. 

John Cain Arena 

Parents rooms are dedicated spaces designed to cater to the specific needs of parents and caregivers with infants or young children.  

A parents room is located near Door 2. 

AAMI Park 

Parents rooms are dedicated spaces designed to cater to the specific needs of parents and caregivers with infants or young children.  

Parents rooms are located near Aisles 18 and 37 on Level 1. 

Special Effects

Events may contain sequences of flashing lights, lasers, strobes, haze and pyrotechnics which may affect photosensitive guests, and those with other medical conditions. 

Sensory Inclusion

Melbourne Park has partnered with KultureCity to improve our ability to assist and accommodate guests with sensory needs at Rod Laver Arena, Margaret Court Arena, John Cain Arena and AAMI Park.  

Rod Laver Arena 

Sensory bags containing special KCVIP badges, fidget tools, noise-cancelling headphones, and other resources, as well as Writable Weighted Lap Pads, are available for loan (at no cost) via our Information Desk at Gate 4. You can also download the KultureCity app for further assistance with your visit to Rod Laver Arena. 

Unfortunately, a dedicated sensory room is not yet available at Rod Laver Arena.  

If you or anyone in your group has sensory needs and requires assistance, please inform a staff member or visit the Information Desk at Gate 4. 

Margaret Court Arena 

Margaret Court Arena is dedicated to improving our ability to assist and accommodate guests with sensory needs. 

Our sensory room is located near Door 15. 

Sensory bags containing special KCVIP badges, fidget tools, noise-cancelling headphones, and other resources, as well as Writable Weighted Lap Pads, are available for loan (at no cost) via our Information Desk at Door 7. Accessible toilets provide restroom facilities that accommodate individuals with mobility challenges or disabilities. 

Accessible toilets are located near Doors 3, 13 and 16, inside Gate 4, and inside Railyards and Upper Deck. 

Margaret Court Arena 

Accessible toilets provide restroom facilities that accommodate individuals with mobility challenges or disabilities. 

Accessible toilets are located near Doors 6, 9, 16 and 19. 

John Cain Arena 

Accessible toilets provide restroom facilities that accommodate individuals with mobility challenges or disabilities. 

Accessible toilets are located near Doors 2, 4, 6 and 8 on the concourse level, near Doors 1, 3 and 5 on Level 2, and in all corporate areas. 

AAMI Park
