Rod Laver Arena is set to host some iconic names. Cyndi Lauper brings her farewell tour to Melbourne, celebrating a career that redefined pop with classics like “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” and “Time After Time.” Mandopop superstar JJ Lin, known for his soulful ballads and powerful vocals, promises an unforgettable night with fan favourites like “River South” and “If Only.” Meanwhile, Academy Award-winning composer Hans Zimmer will transport audiences through his legendary film scores, spanning Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Dark Knight, Interstellar, The Lion King, The Last Samurai, and Dune.
Margaret Court Arena will be buzzing with nostalgia as Yellowcard celebrates the anniversary of Ocean Avenue, the album that defined a generation with anthems like “Only One” and “Ocean Avenue.” Melbourne’s own Slowly Slowly will also deliver a special hometown show, blending their signature storytelling with tracks from their acclaimed discography.
Over at John Cain Arena, Mandopop enthusiasts are in for a treat as sodagreen 蘇打綠 bring their poetic lyricism and dynamic stage presence to Melbourne, performing beloved songs such as “Little Love Song” and “Like You.” K-rock sensations DAY6, known for their genre-blending sound and emotional depth, will make their long-awaited Melbourne debut with hits like “Congratulations” and “Zombie.” Meanwhile, rock legends TOTO will take the stage for a night of timeless anthems, delivering the unmatched musicianship that made songs like “Africa,” “Rosanna,” and “Hold the Line” global classics.

April is packed with high-stakes sport for the whole family at Melbourne Park.
At John Cain Arena, Super Netball is in full swing as the Melbourne Mavericks and Melbourne Vixens hit the court for a flurry of early-season games. Following an impressive debut campaign, the Mavs kick off their second season against the Lightning on Saturday 5 April, while 2024 runners-up the Vixens return to action a week later against the GIANTS on Sunday 13 April.
Over at AAMI Park, Melbourne Storm will take centre stage for their blockbuster ANZAC Day clash against the Rabbitohs on Friday 25 April – a must-see event on the Australian sporting calendar. Meanwhile, Melbourne Victory and Melbourne City FC continue their push towards the A-League Finals. Victory will welcome ladder-leading Auckland to AAMI Park, while City hosts three home games in April against the Mariners, Roar, and Adelaide.
For esports fans, the Intel Extreme Masters tournament will bring the world’s best gamers to Melbourne Park for an action-packed long weekend of elite competition from 25–27 April. Counter-Strike 2 returns to Australia in 2025, with 16 top teams vying for over USD $200,000 at Rod Laver Arena. Following a sold-out 2023 event and a hiatus in 2024, this IEM promises an unforgettable weekend. Mark your calendars, grab your jerseys, and get set for an Aussie esports spectacle!
